Fabric Collage

Here are some things I worked on today. I felt like getting my trusty old sewing machine out and giving it some use today. I hope you enjoy them.

I admit it, I am addicted.

Trying hard to kick the bottled water habit without going to rehab. It's hard. Picked up these nifty bottles at Crate And Barrel and I am doing pretty well so far. I think they are pretty, artful and keep the water pretty cool so far. They were even nicely priced! I will see how I do!

Family Memories

Here's a collage I did of my dad and uncle in 1920. My dad is the one in the chair. There were 11 kids in his family. My mom had 10 in hers. Can you imagine the cousins I have in this world? Every Sunday at my grandma's (moms) house was like Thanksgiving. My dad's side lived on the East coast so we never saw them as much.

Angels Among Us

I guess I will always have a fascination with angels. Here's one I made with both paper and fabric. I love working with both these things together. People seem to really like this class whenever I offer it. Hope you enjoy this one I've posted today.

Boxes

Here are some boxes I did not too long ago. One is a vintage image, one is of my mother, and the other is my aunt and uncle on their wedding day in 1947. I am always doing something to boxes, I hate throwing them away, when it seems something useful can be made from them.
