Angels Among Us

Boxes

Here are some boxes I did not too long ago. One is a vintage image, one is of my mother, and the other is my aunt and uncle on their wedding day in 1947. I am always doing something to boxes, I hate throwing them away, when it seems something useful can be made from them.

LAKER TIME!

Today my beloved LAKERS will play their 7th game in this series. I can hardly wait. Everything stops here when they play, it's a day of fun, food and laughter. Usually, we are on the edge of our seats (at least for some of this series anyway) and besides art, this is my favorite way to spend a day! Someday, I hope to see them play in person, even though I now live 500 miles away. I have to take a lot of flack living here, in Sacramento Kings territory, but I take it well, and will die a LAKER fan, you can count on that!

Heart 2 Art

Some of you know, I've opened a new ETSY store with my sister at Heart2Art.etsy.com. We sell patterns, buttons, old linens, pattern charms I've made, vintage sewing books and so on. This piece of art I am showing you today was inspired from that. I hope you like it!

BTW...I've been gone a while for health reasons, had a hospital stay and stuff like that but I am back now! Yippee!
