I call these Faces of Whimsy because after drawing my first face or was it a cat, I had to take some harsh criticism from a drawing teacher, that taught at the same Art Center I did. She was about 75+ maybe and she could not fathom the idea that I wasn't looking for realism, I was looking for funk and whimsy. When I first started teaching collage there, they thought I was whacked anyway, they just didn't get me. You see I live in a small town and that was many years ago now. I don't think they teach any collage there now, but I think they have a lot of plein air painters there though. To each his own!
fondly, Nancy

Hi Nancy,
How are you doing?
I love your Faces of Whimsy no matter what that art teacher said.:)
Hugs
I love all of these faces...especially the watermelon one...and as for that "art teachers" comments...well I don't need to say what I am thinking! ;)
