Mardi Gras

Mia is 2 1/2 years old now and takes every opportunity to dress up. She is a clothes horse for sure! I don't remember them starting so young when my kids were small.  Here she is dressed up for Mardi Gras. The more the glitz, the happier she is! Wonder where she gets that from?

Back In Time

MENDOCINO AGAIN AND AGAIN

  
I never did post about this year's trip to Mendocino. I try to go at least once a year or more if I can. I love that area. I have been to about 38-39 states in the U.S. and I can't think of anywhere else if I had to move from where I am now, I'd rather live. Here are a few pics of my trip there this last time. Enjoy!

Reflection

Please use today to relect on what you have, where you are going in life and remember to do something nice for someone not just today, but everyday for the rest of your life.

Fly our flag proudly, not just on holidays, but every time you can. Show respect for people of service, and teach your children this at and early age.

Most of all take care of yourself for without good health you can be of no good to others.

Running On EMPTY

Finally making time for the things I really want to do in life. Learning to take charge, say no, and stop and breathe, really breathe. I feel like I've been running on empty for far too long. Why do I feel like I'm letting everyone down about what seems so simple to me?

MOON Dancing

 Saw a moon just like this last night. I swear I really did. I tried to get a real pic of it, but it seems my camera would not cooperate with me. Mainly, because I really am not very good at using it. As hard as I tried I kept coming up with 3-4 moons in every shot. I tried different settings, zooming in and out, moving car, non-moving car and so on. I finally just gave up!  Oh, what a night it was though. I even did some car dancing on the way home from dinner. Nights are the only part of summer I can tolerate. Nights with a moon like this!

COLLAGE IN MOTION

Today's the day I plan on getting back to my fabric collage. I have been away too long. This picture shows two I started but never finished. Maybe I will get around to it today or soon. I seem to start a lot of projects I don't finish. Sound familiar? I also, really want to start writing in my blogs more. More and more I see the importance in this for me. Especially my mental health! HA!

Guess, I will start dragging my creativeness out now. More later.

YES, I AM

Yes, I have decided to get my H1N1 shot today. It seems my Dr. thinks I am high risk, so I will go ahead and get it. I have listened to the pros and cons about it, but with baby Mia being 13 months now, i think it's best if we are all covered. I already have my regular flu shot, so i am all set! Yay!

Oh, How The Year's Go By!

Baby Mia turned one this last week, and oh, what a party it was! Lots of family, and friends, to help her celebrate. Thanks to everyone for making it a day to remember. Maybe not so much for her, but for all of us that enjoyed the celebration! I can't believe it's been a year already!
